Joe was born (7/19/66) and raised in Lake Zurich, Illinois where he attended St. Francis Grade School and Carmel High School in Mundelein, graduating in 1984. In 1988, Mr. Salvi received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. He then went on to the Chicago-Kent College of Law and received his Juris Doctorate degree in the Spring of 1991. Joe was admitted to the Illinois Bar and the Federal District Court for Northern Illinois in 1991. He started working for Salvi, Salvi & Wifler, P.C. in 1991 and in 1996 became a partner of the firm. Joe is involved in general practice with concentration in criminal/traffic, family law and civil litigation. He is a member of the Lake County Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association and McHenry Bar Association, and is an arbitrator for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit, Lake County, Illinois.

Joe currently resides in Hawthorn Woods, Illinois with his wife, Bridget, and four children, Joseph, Angela, Olivia and Emilia..
