Catherine M. Wifler

Cathy was born (9/4/56) and raised in Lake Zurich, Illinois where she attended St. Francis Grade School and Carmel High School in Mundelein, graduating in 1974.  In 1978, Cathy received her Bachelor of Arts degree (History Major, Phi Alpha Theta) from Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI.  She taught junior high school social studies, but later switched careers to join her father, Al Salvi, at his law practice in Lake Zurich.  She received her certificate in Paralegal Studies from Lake Forest College in 1983 and worked as a real estate paralegal with Mr. Salvi, until she began law school.  Cathy received her Juris Doctorate degree in January, 1989 from The John Marshall Law School, graduating with honors.  She was admitted to the Illinois Bar and the Federal District Court for Northern Illinois in May, 1989.  Cathy came back to Lake Zurich upon finishing her education with her husband Pete and both have been working for Salvi, Salvi & Wifler, P.C.

Cathy is a member of the Lake County Bar Association and the Illinois Bar Association, and is an arbitrator for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit in Lake County, Illinois.  She is also an agent for Attorney's Title Guaranty Fund, Inc., Chicago Title Insurance Company, Ticor Title Insurance Company, and First American Title Insurance Company.  Her concentration in real estate transactions gives her the knowledge and experience needed to deal with her clients, helping them sell or purchase homes in the greater Chicagoland area, closing on average 150 - 200 transactions each year.
